Comes after and part of

Say what has to happen first, and what is a piece of something bigger.

A Gantt chart with tasks nested under a plot down the left and bars across a September and October scale, joined by curved arrows. A tooltip over one bar reads: Electrical first fix, 4 October 2026 to 7 October 2026, 4 days, comes after Plumbing and heating first fix, move it and this moves too.

Two relationships cover almost everything a builder needs to say about the order of work.

What it does

  • Comes after: this cannot start until that is done
  • Part of: this is one piece of a larger job
  • Both readable on the phone as plain sentences, not arrows on a chart
  • Feeds the programme without anybody maintaining a second plan

Why it matters on site

Everybody already knows the plaster comes after the first fix. Writing it down once means the programme reflows on its own when the first fix slips.

Which plan

This is included in every plan, from £149 a month. Plans differ by how many people they seat, not by what the software does. See pricing.

How to use it

The manual page for this is in the Help Centre, and it is the same guide SiteBot reads inside the app. Read the guide.
