Our Story

BuildersAI was born in Chiang Mai, Thailand—a city that's become a global hub for AI innovation and technology entrepreneurship. It's where our founding team came together, united by a shared belief that artificial intelligence should be accessible to everyone, not just tech companies.

We saw an opportunity in UK construction. While other industries have embraced digital tools, construction remains one of the least digitised sectors in the economy. Site managers still coordinate via phone calls and WhatsApp. Information lives in filing cabinets and email threads. Delays and miscommunication cost the industry billions every year.

We're here to change that. Not by forcing complex enterprise software onto busy sites, but by building AI tools so simple that any construction worker can use them—no training required.

William studied Economics before choosing entrepreneurship over a career in actuarial science. He founded his first marketing agency during his final year of university, and has since built and scaled multiple businesses across different industries. His experience identifying market inefficiencies led him to UK construction—an industry ripe for digital transformation. William leads BuildersAI's vision of putting powerful AI tools in the hands of every construction worker.

Franzicus studied Computer Science in Germany before building a successful international freelance career. As an experienced full-stack engineer, he's known for his solutions-first mindset—approaching every technical challenge as a problem to solve, not an obstacle to avoid. He's delivered projects for clients across multiple continents and now leads BuildersAI's product development, ensuring our technology is both powerful and simple enough for anyone to use.
