Private reminders

A note to yourself that never reaches a board, and that nobody else can read.

A page headed My Reminders with the subtitle Only visible to you. A quick-add box sits at the top. Below it, six overdue reminders are listed in red with their dates, including chasing an architect on a drainage query and confirming a crane off-hire date, followed by a section headed Today with two more.

Everything else in the app is shared: a task, an issue and a snag belong to the project and everybody on it can read them. A reminder is the exception.

What it does

  • A note to yourself, raised the same way as anything else
  • Never reaches a board or the programme
  • Nobody else can see it, and that is enforced by the database rather than by what the screen chooses to show

Why it matters on site

People keep private notes whatever a system does. Giving them somewhere to put them inside the app is how the app stops competing with a notebook in a van.

Which plan

This is included in every plan, from £149 a month. Plans differ by how many people they seat, not by what the software does. See pricing.
