Closing a job out

A finished job leaves the pickers and keeps every record, because records outlive the build.

A card in project settings headed Archive Project, with the explanation: close out a finished project, it keeps all of its photos, files and records, and stays open to edit, but drops out of the project switcher so your active list stays short. A single Archive Project button sits beneath.

UK construction records outlive the build. Warranty, building regulations and dispute evidence all mean a finished job can never simply be deleted.

What it does

  • Archive a project when it is finished
  • It keeps every photograph, file and record, and stays writable
  • It only leaves the prominent pickers, so the list of live jobs stays the list of live jobs
  • Deliberately not the same thing as deletion, which is a separate and slower path

Why it matters on site

Archiving is a visibility change and nothing else. That is the whole point: the tidy-up a director wants at the end of a job must not be the thing that loses the evidence six years later.

Which plan

This is included in every plan, from £149 a month. Plans differ by how many people they seat, not by what the software does. See pricing.
